This book adopts a transatlantic approach to consider literature and cultural products produced by authors confronted with the experience of migration, working from or looking in the direction of the Global North. It offers a comparative framework which underlines the differences and similarities between the Francophone and Latino American cultural spheres. Perspectives avoid as far as possible hierarchical, vertical and binomial configurations between self and other, North and South, male and female.
