SolarWinds Kiwi Syslog Server ist eine easy-to-use Serveranwendung, die Kosten für Gruppen und Netzadministratoren einspart. Einfache Einrichtung und Konfiguration, Empfang von Systemprotokollservern, Anzeigen, Warnungen, Systemprotokollübergänge, Ereignisbenachrichtigungen von Routern, Switches, Firewalls, Linux-Servern und Windows-PCs sind einige der Funktionen dieses Programms.
1) install kiwi syslog server and do not run after installation is finished
2) stop windows service "Kiwi Syslog Server"
3) copy fixed "SolarWinds.Licensing.Gen4.dll" to install folder and overwrite
4) block "syslogd_manager.exe" to INET or add this entry in your host file:
127.0.0.1 downloads.solarwinds.com
5) start windows service "Kiwi Syslog Server"
6) run Kiwi Syslog Manager Console and close the "buy online nag screen"
7) press "F2" key in the main window and activation dialog appears, choose "This server does not have internet access....", click browse button and select the license file "license.lic"
8) optional: disable update check --> File, Setup, Product Updates
[*] if edit your host file don't forget run "ipconfig /flushdns" as admin
