In Extremo werden 20: Es gibt nicht viele Bands, die es schaffen über 1,5 Millionen Tonträger zu verkaufen, die Konzerte vor tausenden Menschen spielen, aber von Radio und TV weitestgehend ignoriert werden. In Extremo ist das gelungen. Sie sind eine der erfolgreichsten deutschen Rockbands.
Die sieben Musiker spielen auf den größten Festivalbühnen, ihre Tourneen sind ausverkauft, auf der ganzen Welt haben sie ihre Fans - und die letzten fünf Studioalben waren alle in den Top 5 der deutschen Albencharts zu finden. In der Musikdokumentation erfährt der Zuschauer, warum diese Band verehrt und angespien wird - und das seit 20 Jahren.
Turning 20 in Extremo: There aren't many bands that manage to sell over 1.5 million records, play concerts in front of thousands of people, but are largely ignored by radio and TV. In Extremo that was successful. They are one of the most successful German rock bands.
The seven musicians play on the biggest festival stages, their tours are sold out, they have fans all over the world - and the last five studio albums were all in the top 5 of the German album charts. In the music documentary, the viewer learns why this band is adored and spat at - and has been for 20 years.
