DVD 1 : His younger years in Tupelo, Mississippi, where he grew up in poverty. The influence of the gospels he heard and his life at school. The
desire to be different and his first album recordings. Elvis travels throughout the country performing with his first band at different universities.
DVD 2 : Elvis is getting noticed by the audience and his albums get the #1 position in the charts. Performing on the Ed Sullivan Show gives Elvis
an immense popularity with the youth of America. Then at the peak of his fame he is drafted for military service.
DVD 3 : He is stationed in Germany where at first he's extremely lonely and very unhappy. He's struggling with the death of his mother. His career
almost grinds to a stop but that changes when he meets his future wife Priscilla. Soon after military service, he stars in a few movies and his concerts
become a big hit.
DVD 4 : We follow Elvis during his last years when he plays some legendary concerts. The role of Colonel Tom Parker becomes clear and we get
a glimpse of Elvis's financial and health problems. Problems that towards the end of his life seemed to be too much. 16th August 1977, the day he
died, is reconstructed and the true nature of his death is shown.
CONCERT: DVD 5 : A concert of more than 60 minutes with many of Elvis's great songs, backed up by great artists like Paul Anka, Lou Reed,
Gladys Knight and many others. a legendary concert.
