Im zweiten Teil des BLACK ANGEL Zyklus entführt Kultregisseur Takashi Ishii die Zuschauer noch tiefer in die Welt der Yakuza. Trotz brachialer Actionszenen und einer betont kühlen Inszenierung, spielt Ishii gekonnt auf der Klaviatur des Gefühlskinos und erschuf so einen extrem gelungenen Beitrag zum japanischen Yakuza Genre.
Die Yakuza-Killerin Mayu lebt emotionslos nur noch von Job zu Job. Bei ihrem aktuellen Auftrag erkennt sie aber unter ihren Zielpersonen einen wichtigen Menschen aus ihrer Vergangenheit. Durch ihr Zögern geht der Job schief und ein Unschuldiger kommt zu Tode.
Während Mayu durch ihre unerwartete Begegnung wieder Lebensmut schöpft, macht sich die Ehefrau des zu Unrecht getöteten Mannes auf, um Rache an seiner Mörderin zu nehmen.
